The Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum has a great feel in your grip with the front handle setup away from the hosing. If you want a paintball gun that can stand up to any condition, takes minimal maintenance, and still shoots like a mid level gun, then the 98 Custom Platinum is the way to go. If you're entering the paintball world for the first time and want a gun in the entry level price range that's going to perform at par or better, than this gun's for you. 98 Custom PS comes with ACT system that helps to break little to no paint in any condition. ACT stands for anti chop technology and essentially what it does is make it so the bolt is a lot softer when it hits the paintball causing in less ball breakage. 98 Custom Platinum Series is easier to upgrade, modify and maintain than it´s previous version. With the e-Grip T98 PS can shoot up to 17BPS and choose from 5 firing modes including semi auto, turbo, 3-shot safety burst, auto response and full safety auto. Requires 9 volt battery (not included). Features: Split Receiver Design, which provides easier access to internal components for simplified installation of grip upgrades and modifications. Secure Front Sight Spring and Trigger Pins, which makes the marker easier to service and reassemble. Easy-to-Remove Power Tube Design with self-sealing/locking gas line secures the valve in place and eliminates two bolts from previous design making maintaining the marker quicker and easier. Full Depth Pockets for ASA, which eliminates the need to loosen the ASA bolts when disassembling the marker. New Barrel Porting and a Matte Finish, which improves marker air efficiency and reduces reflective glare. Picatinny Rails, which makes adding a carry handle, scopes and other accessories a snap. Redesigned, Vertical Front Grip, which offers improved stability and added texture for a more secure feel. Redesigned Sling Mount End Cap, which allows players to easily attach a variety of different sling styles. It’s fully compatible for CO2, compressed air, or nitrogen.

Dobrý den, chtěl bych se zeptat jaká je maximální kadence této zbraně a zda je možnou použít jak CO2 tak vzduch popř. co je třeba dokoupit, aby bylo možno mezi těmito možnostmi volit. Děkuji

Dobrý den,
max. kadence této zbraně je 17bps, ale to je samozřejmě v reálu u vysokotlaké zbraně nepoužitelné. V případě vzduchu a kvalitního el. zásobníku nebo Cyclone Feedu má smysl kadence někde na max 10-13 bps (v základu nastaveno na 15bps). Při použití CO2 je spíše rozumné používat jen semi-mód (co umačkáte).
Co se týká možnosti volby CO2/vzduch, tak nic nepotřebujete. Namontujete buď CO2 láhev nebo vzduchový systém.

Jakým způsobem se přepínají jednotlivé módy střelby?

Módy se programují pomocí zapuštěného tlačítka z vnitřní strany rukojeti spouště. Není to nic co by se dalo přepínat v průběhu hry jako je tomu třeba u Spyderu.

Můžete použít buď nějaký el. zásobník (vhodný typ záleží na tom jak velkou kadencí nebo jakým módem budete chtít střílet, ideální muže být třeba HALO B), nebo pak mechanický systém Tippmann Cyclone Feed kat.č. 08287.
